Our Impact So Far...
Current Project: A Focus on Tak Province
What did we do?
We partnered with three schools in Tak—Bankhanejue School, Ban Hua Pa Lod School, and Ban Musor School—to connect with students in grades 4 through 9. Over a week at each school, we focused on:

Teaching basic English, guiding students on how to introduce themselves and have simple conversations.

Building genuine connections through fun activities and cultural exchange with students from the Pagargoyau Karen community, who come from Kayin State in Myanmar and now live in northern Thailand. We learned from their rich cultural heritage while sharing our own experiences.

Encouraging students to see the possibilities that come with learning English while fostering meaningful connections.
We also donated learning and sporting equipment to support the students’ education and well-being. Our goal was to learn and grow together, sharing knowledge and experiences that inspire hope and opportunity for the future.
Looking Back, Paving Forward
This experience has been truly incredible. We are deeply grateful for the support from our friends, family, and especially the local volunteers who dedicated their time to help us make an impact at the three schools we visited. Through genuine connections, we’ve formed lasting relationships with many students.
While a week is brief for teaching English, we’re excited to see where the inspiration and guidance we’ve shared will take them. This journey has been a valuable learning experience for both the students and the Paveway Initiative team. Spending time together, sharing stories, and learning from each other’s unique perspectives will remain unforgettable.
The positive feedback from students and faculty has been overwhelming, and with continued support from our donors, we hope to revisit these schools in the future. Thank you to the schools for hosting us, to our donors for their generosity, and to the students for their warmth and participation.
As we look ahead, this is just the beginning. The Paveway Initiative is expanding its reach, creating more opportunities for connection, learning, and growth. Together, we can pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive future, one step at a time. We are excited for what’s to come and grateful for everyone’s support as we continue to make a difference.
